It happens to all of us: you unsubscribing from an unwanted funny, and a few days later another message from the same company pops up in your inbox. Comedian marketing email turned this frustration into whimsy when a local supermarket refused to take no for an answer. Hijinks ensued.

When firms used to use snail mail, they'd ask for your address for whatever (credit cards, bill payments, product registration, etc.) For apartment number I'd put in I for IBM, M for Microsoft, A for Aol, etc. They all claimed they would not sell the info, that my info was private, etc. But guess what? When I got spam snail mail it almost always had one of these "apartment numbers" in my address...

I unintentionally had this happen to me once. My autoreply was on when I was out of the office. Another company was sending me automated emails from a no-reply that changed emails every time... so my autoreply kept replying...
